To Start Off

This is a continuation from my other blog, Memories of the Great War. Where that blog was about the experiences of my great-grandfather Jack, this blog will tell the story of his two sons, my Granddad Francis (Frank) and Edward, who fought in the next War. Many of you who have ben reading Memories, will know that Edward died in the Second World War. Unlike my great-grandfather's service, both Granddad and Edward left behind letters and a diary (which Granddad did in secret.) of their time overseas. This blog will incorporate them.
